    The headland is beautiful with many beaches to swim, explore and enjoy

    There are lots of great shops, for whatever you are looking for. On the weekend there are markets, with locally made fashion and food

  • Snorkeling or Scuba diving

    Explore some coral reefs, meet some turtles, manta rays, and jellyfish.

  • Coastal walks

    There are kilometers of well maintained walking tracks up and down the coast.

  • Hiking

    Check out the Tweed mountain range for a longer hike include Mt Warning.

  • Waterfall pools

    There are numerous waterfalls nearby including swimming holes, caves, walking tracks, ledges for jumping in, and camping facilities.

  • Surfing

    It’s probably the best known thing about Byron. We love the beginner spots at Clarks, The Pass, and Wategoes beaches.

  • Sea Kayaking

    Cruise around the peninsula. Meet some dolphins, see a whale, and admire the headland.

  • Cycling

    Grabs a bike and get on the country road or right on the beach.

  • Food

    You can get almost anything sourced locally around Byron. Wine, produce, meats, you name it. Let us show you around.

    Frog Buttress has the best climbing in the area with many moderate single pitch classics.
